1 diploma  The Level 4 Diploma is the WSETs flagship qualification. It is designed to give specialist knowledge of the principal wines and spirits of the world combined with commercial factors and a thorough system for the professional evaluation of wines and spirits.

The Diploma is viewed universally as the stepping-stone to the
Master of Wine qualification.

Diploma Overview
The Diploma qualification is unitised. A pass in all 6 Units must be obtained to gain the WSET Level 4 Diploma qualification.  Upon completion candidates can continue their studies by taking the Level 5 Honours Diploma.

Qualification objective:
Provide expert knowledge of the principal wines and spirits of the world combined with commercial factors and a thorough system for the professional evaluation of wines.

Who it is aimed at:
People employed in the wines and spirits industry required to make managerial decisions, interpret information and have a thorough understanding of market trends and requirements.

Entry Requirements:
Candidates must be over the legal minimum age for the retail purchase of alcoholic beverages
in the country where the examination is being held.  Candidates are required to hold the WSET Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Wines and Spirits  to study for the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines and Spirits.
